Lady A Concert - Daphne's 1st Concert!

Shannon gave Daphne a very special birthday present this year. Shannon took the three of us to see Daphne's favorite band...Lady Antebellum on August 7th. Sam Hunt and Hunter Hayes both opened for them. We took her out to a special dinner at Outback in Charlotte before the concert. She had no idea! Mom and dad bought her new cowboy boots and this adorable outfit for the concert for her birthday. Again, she had no idea. We finally told her when we handed her the tickets right before leaving the restaurant.

Daphne got to give Hillary a high five when she was coming around the arena. Daphne was small enough to squeeze through the crowd.

The next morning Daphne woke up to birthday surprises at our house. She got the new Lady A CD and some games.

Jocelyn picked out a cookie cake for Daphne so we could sing to her on her birthday.

Emilee had her birthday shirt made, complete with the minion.

Holden Beach 2015

We got to spend a few days with mom, dad and Shannon at Holden Beach in August. It was very nice to get away. In order to get a jump on P crying in the hot car, we left at 4am. This gave us essentially an extra day to play in the ocean. It was a good idea too, since we had two and a half days of rain!

Summer 2015

Lots have happened this summer. Here is a quick overview of the end of summer.

Daphne carries Phoebe around everywhere she can. We have a new rule in the house...if she gets heavy, sit carefully and quickly and someone will come and help.
