This past week has gone by so quickly! Here is a recap. Maiden Fire Department came to visit Daphne's school on Tuesday. Brian started his new job on Monday, which he really enjoyed showing off his new uniform. I broke my toe on Wednesday night by kicking my computer that was on the floor. I forgot where I put it, and WAM. There goes my toe. It's a good thing that toe was already weirdly crooked! We have some wonderful news though...we will have a new edition to the Eddings family. Joe FINALLY proposed to Tiff! Yippie!!! It's a really old ring with a dark blue sapphire in the middle of it. I can't WAIT to see it in person! This just means I have to quickly lose lots of weight and baby skin to fit into dresses by wedding time! Other than that, Clinton and I have just been enjoying giggling with each other like two school kids a lot lately. It's fun :)

Naked baby strikes again!

Daphne has been HATING the idea of clothing. She is extremely hot natured like her mama, so clothes are usually the first thing to go if she cries and there is a fully belly and a clean diaper.

Cole misses pictures taken of him.

Oreo has started enjoying being around me again, which I really enjoy it!

Naked baby, naked baby, naked baby.

Firewoman baby

Her outfit that is not pink or purple!

We LOVE this picture. She's blowing bubbles and wearing her hat. She loved playing on the fire truck that day at school.

Renaissance Festival...

Daphne went to her first Renaissance Festival with mommy, daddy, Tiff, Joe, Jennifer, Little Willie, Stacey and Emilee. We all had lots of fun. Mommy got a new decoration for her and daddy's room, and some yummy smelling incense. The rest of the week flew by. Sannon came over Saturday afternoon to help with Daphne so mommy could clean house, although that really did not happen as much as she had hoped for, but it was a nice break from cleaning and having to worry about baby. Here are some really cool pictures of our trip. Maybe next year we can convince everyone to dress up like I know Clinton wants to. :) Oh, Zak called this weekend too. Clinton was very happy. It made his day.

the sword swallower ate a balloon too!

This was seriously the only time she slept all day, and it was onlt for five minutes. She was too excited to sleep. We are hoping she will sleep all night because of it!!!

Daphne's First Overnight Trip...

This week went by really quickly. One day it was Monday, the next day, Friday. Daphne got her shots on Thursday. We were a little worried about our weekend trip because she was really clingy to mommy all Thursday night, but she was a trooper and went to school on Friday. Mommy was upset that Daphne cried unlike she has before, but we both got through it. She got pretty bandaids, one was Barbie and the other one was My Little Pony. Daphne is now 10 pounds, 12 ounces and 23 inches long! She is getting so big!!! Clinton and I took Daphne on her first overnight trip to Raleigh this weekend. She had a blast and did a great job in the car. We only had to stop once on the way there, and we made it all the way back without stopping, which was wonderful! Here are lots of pictures from this week and our trip.
The praying mantis was trying to eat Daphne.
Such a cute family picture :) I love it!!!
Oh no! The dinosaur is eating the baby...it's a good thing Clinton is saving her!
That is one tired little girl!
Her first bath in the S-I-N-K!
This was early one morning when we were getting ready for school together.
Wow at how weird our daughter sleeps.
She is so little...
Getting ready for church in her pretty dress.
Hey! I slept through the night Sunday night (10/12/08). Mommy loved it!!! Her students loved the giggly Mrs. Eddings Monday morning :)

end of week 2 at work

I am very glad that my students are making my return to school so easy. It would be much harder to leave Daphne and the animals if they weren't so good. This week has flown by so fast! We bought new phones since our contracts were up and my phone stopped dialing numbers correctly. We also went shopping for some warm clothes for Daphne to wear later this winter. Babies R Us was having a major sale and thanks to Jeff and Donna...we had a gift card :) Plus, yay for being paid ABC money!

Saturday morning Clinton and I were trying to pick up the house a little bit before we had to go to our family reunion, and I told Daphne that I was going to move her. Well, she just smiled real big, so I made up the bed. She thought it was hilarious.
We have a really big bed bug!
Isn't she adorable?
She loves hanging on to her daddy's fingers.
Sleeping dino...ssshhhh! Don't make it roar
Don't you love the face???
How can you not love the smile?
Clinton brought home flowers for me. They are gorgeous and they smell wonderful!
She has such wonderful facial expressions! We can't get enough of them!
We had our Weaver family reunion this weekend. Nanny was so proud of the baby, she had to show her off to everyone. Daphne also got an award for youngest in attendance there, with a plague and everything. She was also in the paper last weekend. Daphne is not quite two months old and is already FAMOUS! We have had several people come up to us letting us know she was in the paper. We are so happy that she is here. She definitely makes our life more interesting, and in the best way possible.

bath time!
