Jocelyn's First Birthday

Jocelyn had a wonderful Chicka Chicka Boom Boom birthday party.  Here is a quick run down of the day.
Letters up the coconut trees.  We had three of them around the house.
Jocelyn took down the rest of her message.  She enjoyed putting them in her mouth.
We had containers of magnetic letters.  This doubled as party favors.
 Jocelyn's birthday cake.
Jocelyn playing with Paw's phone before everyone got there.
Crayon letters.  This was also used as party favors for the kids.
We had a food for each letter of the alphabet.
Daphne eating a pickle while playing with her cousin Colin.
 More food.
Letters were cut out of just about anything that we could.
 Colin and Paw
Jocelyn trying some of her yummy fruit.
 Blowing out her candles.
 Yum!  Cake!

Party animal presents
 She liked that dress
 I love that smile!
 M&Ms are a nice treat.
She thinks she could eat all of them.
An adorable lamb became a new friend.
Daphne playing with paper and Jocelyn.
 Jocelyn's new water table.
Let's just say it is fun for all!

Jocelyn's first birthday at daycare...

Jocelyn had her first birthday party on Friday, June 15th.  I brought cupcakes for her class and Daphne's class.
 Jocelyn's smash cake.
 Curious George cupcake cake.

Jocelyn didn't know what to do when the class was singing Happy Birthday to her.
Daphne and Emilee.  Emilee joined me for her party since she was helping me get ready for Saturday.
Looking at her cake, unsure of what to do with it.
 Taking the first bite.
She kept using one finger over and over.
Daphne licking the top of her cupcake.
Eventually she figured out how to really get into the cake.

 It was EVERYWHERE!
That is one green baby :)

Pool and Piercing...

Jocelyn got her ears pierced for her birthday.  She was a trooper. She barely cried.  She was more scared of mommy holding her down than anything else.  We have also been swimming a lot this summer so far.  Sometimes at mom and dad's, sometimes at Lauren's parents.  Either way, both girls love the water and are little fish.
 Pretty ears!
 Loving the pool
 Floating in our new boat.
 Doughnut break.
 Swimming around the pool.

The lady was very nice while getting the ears finished.
