Santa Claus comes to town...

Whewww, this was a really exciting and exhausting few days. Christmas is hard on me, but I got a lot of cool stuff from Santa and my family. Mommy and daddy are falling asleep on the couch, and Uncle Brian is snoring! I thought I would write a note and show my first Christmas.
I have now successfully mastered three fingers in the mouth by the end of the day.
I am trying really hard to figure out who this guy is. They told me to watch out for him because he is sneaky, but I will have fun with him. He likes to play!

Pop pop made me a sign on the back of my brand new shiny red wagon so I can wear my nickname proudly.

Yay for new wagons!

I can't decide whether I like my feet or my new toy better. On the one foot, I can take my feet anywhere. One the other foot, these new toys make some awesome noises. I'm still trying to decide.

Paw bought me a new horse to play with. He said this will have to do because mommy and daddy doesn't have a hard big enough for a real pony. It sounds just like one (but doesn't smell!)

After all the presents, I'm really tired. I had to take a little nap before we went to mawmaw's.

I can ride my new horsey!

I want the purse out now mommy! Get it out, get it out now!

Uncle Brian likes his presents from Santa.

Aunt Shannon thinks it is too early to get up. I personally like 5am. You get to see the sunrise.

I am a big girl opening my presents.
Santa came! Santa came!

Christmas pjs. It says I am Santa's helper, but I don't think I have the bright shiny red nose for that job. I'll go to bed and wait for him instead.

Playing with my abc rings before bedtime.

Mommy caught me falling asleep in my swing. I like to prop my feet on the swing like daddy does with the coffee table.

Mommy and the wonderful people she works with. They got to dress up in their pjs for Polar Express day! I had to do the dirty work of getting the turtles home for break. I tried to pet them, but I was told that is a no no. :( oh well, I'll try again later!

We went to see lights at Tanglewood Park on Saturday before Christmas with paw and mimi and mommy and daddy. They were bright and pretty. We also had Christmas Eve here at my house. Lots and lots of people stopped by and ate chicken and steak. I personally had the chicken and it was yummy in my tummy. After that, mommy and daddy drove me to mimi and paw's so we could see Santa. I tried really hard to stay up all night to watch for him, but I fell asleep. He was very good to me. I now think mommy and daddy are going to buy a new house with more room for my toys. Ha ha daddy, you don't have an office to play in anymore! There was just so many things to see and do and so many people to hold and play with me that I am wanting to continue to play into the wee hours of the morning. Mommy says I really like a schedule or I am cranky. Oh well, it's time for a nap now. I'm still recovering from the busy days. Thank you for all the wonderful things this Christmas. I had a blast.

uh oh, someone has created a MONSTER!

We are getting ready for the Christmas season. We are trying to become the Griswalds in our neighborhood because no one else decorates at all! You can see our house from the main road :) This weekend, our cousin Carly came over to play with Daphne. She ended up playing with Clinton and I on the Wii for over two hours! Oh it was so fun!!! I only have a few more days of school for the rest of the year, yay! Emilee came over on Monday and we all went out to dinner for Christmas. She gave Clinton and I a wonderful gift of a movie night in and a movie night out, including free babysitting! Now the funny part was that she walked into our house with two big bags, and one movie sized package for the adults...the rest were for Daphne! It was cute. I think this Christmas, the monster will be created. Her actions were so funny opening these presents, which she actually tried really hard to do by herself. It's amazing how unlike a 4 month old she acts!
Sleeping with Aunt Stacey's glow worm seahorse. She just stares at the tummy as it lights up in the dark.

At the beginning of the night, she started up at the top where her passy is located. We had to remove the bumpers in the bed because I got her up one night and her feet were pushing it down!

Finding her brand new pretty pants, and searching through the rest of her gifts.

Right before she opened her new book.
Trying to decide whether she wanted to continue to listen to the Brown Bear talking box or open more gifts.

Opening her first gift. She pulled the paper out by herself.

haha, she looks so excited to see what is in the bag!

Bundled up bear! It may be really big so that her feet are barely in the legs, but boy does it work wonders when it's cold! Thanks again Great Uncle Donald and Great Aunt Malinda!

Thanksgiving and otherness...

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope everyone else did too. We had dinner at mom and dad's on Thursday. Then Tiff and I went shopping on Friday so early. Clinton and Brian went shopping too and we met them for breakfast. Mimi stayed and watched Daphne so she could sleep and not be cranky on our trip to Jville. Tiff and I went to go see the Peacock Inn as a possible wedding place. It was really nice. I liked it alot. After that, the Eddings clan piled into the car and drove to Jacksonville to meet Clinton's family. They were meeting Daphne for the first time. Sunday, we all came home. Poor Daphne had to go to the doctor's office on Monday because she was sick. Yuck! Our house is beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Too bad we don't have any more time to finish until this weekend :) More pictures to come!
Daphne stared at the lights even though she didn't feel good for like fifteen minutes straight.
I love this picture! She turned her whole body around so she could see the christmas lights.

We have found out that she LOVES the monkey!

All of our babies love Christmas and the tree. They haven't really moved since we put it up

Oreo under the tree.

Cole inspecting everything.

Mac helps out SO much.

Daphne wanted to help daddy fix the tree.

Kitty and Daphne.

Can't you tell she loved her indian head dress?

Snow bunny!

Daphne likes helping mommy on the computer. See the fishing pooh on her outfit? It's too bad it's so cold or we would be doing that right now!

look who's talking...

week in pictures

Since I am getting phone calls demanding new pictures, here they are. The weeks are very blurry. We went to mamaw and papaw's 50th wedding anniversary two weekends ago. It was wonderful. This past weekend we NOTHING! It was great. It was the first time we have actually had time to breathe in several months. Last Tuesday we went to have professional pictures of Daphne and us taken. I saw them yesterday...they are AMAZING. Oreo's eyes always look really neat when it's picture time.
Brian and Daphne asleep on the couch on Saturday morning. It was hilarious because both of their mouths are open!

Daphne was holding and inspecting her passy.

A bear after bath time!

Halloween 2008

We have had a good and interesting week. We met Brian's new girlfriend and her two kids. They are very cute. Clinton gave blood on Thursday for Girls on the Run at my school. We all carved pumpkins on Thursday after he got home and had pizza. It was a lot of fun. Friday was Halloween and pay day. Pay days make it even more enjoyable! Daphne had a good time at her Fall Festival party on Friday. She made a pumpkin with her feet prints on it. She also got a goodie bag with a stuffed doggy, a hat, some wash clothes, a pair of socks, and some candy (candy for mommy and daddy). After I picked her up, we went to get Clinton from work and then we went to dinner with my parents, Brian, Shannon, Brendan, Bethany, Kalie, and Jazmyn. We went to Daphne's great grandparents to get candy and show off her costume. Elijah, Carly, Donald, and Malinda were also there. Saturday, the Eddings family went shopping all day to get things we needed such as new shoes, Christmas gifts for Daphne (ssshhhhh), diapers and wipes for day care, and groceries. Clinton and I went to a Halloween party at Emilee's house. Oh my goodness at the fun we had. It was neat to see people I work with in a different light. Hopefully we will be able to do that again soon :)

Daphne in her Halloween gear. They are a little big, so they will fit nicely next Halloween!

Paw and Daphne sitting on the couch after carving pumpkins.

Look at Cole in the background just watching us carve pumpkins. He was very curious to get into the mess after everyone left.

Jazmyn working on the guts of her pumpkin.

No Daphne, you aren't supposed to sit on your pumpkin, you are supposed to carve it!

Daphne in the pumpkin.

Figuring out what the guts feel like.

Me carving my pumpking and taking all the guts out. This is the pumpkin that was really gross and rotten.

All 3 of them done. Clinton's is the spider. Mine in the middle is Igor. Bethany and Brian's is a black cat.

Elijah the batman cowboy. Carly the Hannah Montana cat. They both got their faces painted at the Trunk or Treat from their church they went to.

A tired Shrek by the end of the night!

Mawmaw and Shrek

Doesn't she look happy to be in her costume?

Clinton is a gangster and I am a flapper. Check out my cool gun holster :)

Emilee and I at the party. Emilee is a black widow.

Sunday morning plane ride.

Zonked out!

She loves to play around with mommy and daddy.

She looks so happy. You would never know she had a cold unless you heard her!
