Week in Review...

Here is a quick run through of our week. I went back to school. The students were happy to see me. Daphne went to Rosenwald for the first time. They love her very much there. She is a good baby! I havent' been able to take very many pictures because my camera broke, so yesterday Clinton and I bought a new one. It's good and so now I am happy.
I think this picture is soooo cute :)

Testing out my new camera!
The many faces and poses of Daphne Lorac

The two of them were watching the Panthers play on Sunday. She tried very hard to stay awake to watch, but if you look closely, her eyes are BARELY open!

Leave is over :(

Tomorrow I am having to leave Daphne at daycare and go back to work :( I know it's going to be hard. I am already upset about it, but I know I am going to get through it. Hopefully the day will go by very quickly so I can get out of there right at 3:15!!! Pray for me as I make it with as little tears as possible. Here are a few pictures of our last week together. We had a really busy week so these are taken with camera phones. They turned out pretty well though. We got our oil changed this week, we took uncle Brian to an interview for the county (which went really well, cross our fingers for Tuesday), got mommy's hair cut, and went to the doctors for mommy. We did a lot of having fun together during the day!
I love this picture! I love it even more that it is NOT stupid Carolina blue yuck yuck yuck!
She is a happy baby. We were texting Patty and wanted to take a cute picture for her! Of course we always succeed in taking cute pictures of Daphne.
I love my pretty dress and riding in cars.
Oddly enough, I have found the travel swing works much better keeping her occupied than the big swing. I can get so much more accomplished (like taking showers and getting ready for the day)
She is so little! We love her so much!

Chuck E Cheese...Where a Kid Can Be a Kid!

Mommy and Daddy took me to Chuck E. Cheese's for the first time last night! It was such a blast!!! I couldn't keep my eyes off all the bright lights! Cousin Elijah and Carly won so many tickets (with the help of Aunt Shannon and mommy and daddy). They got all kinds of cool prizes to take home.

Cousin Elijah was being so careful with me!
Daddy and cousin Elijah played skee ball for so long. I know that is daddy's favorite game to play. He is pretty good. Elijah tried really hard. Daddy helped him all night play all the different games.
Mommy and cousin Carly and I played together for a long time. Carly got so many tickets. She is pretty good.
I got to meet Chuck himself!!! Of course I was a little tired since it was the end of the night. It's a good thing a picture was taken so I would remember him. Mommy, Daddy, and me also took our first good family picture with the sketch booth. Mommy said she would scan the picture for me later so I could put it on here for everyone to see!
By the end of the night, I was NOT tired! Daddy was getting a little sluggish, so I had to jump on his back to wake him up :) He likes it when I do that!

Tomorrow we are going to the Science Center! Today we went to the library to read lots of books! I like hanging out with my older cousins!

Eventful weekend...

This weekend was a fun-filled weekend! I got to meet Catherine for the first time. I also got to play all afternoon with my cousin Carly. I had so much fun that I barely slept all day long! Of course I slept 6 hours at night from 9:30 until 3:30. I know mommy was happy about that! We went to Chili's for lunch with Carly, Catherine, Aunt Shannon, and mommy on Saturday. We went to breakfast on Sunday as a big family with Mimi, Paw, Uncle Brian, Aunt Shannon, Uncle Brendan, Catherine, Mommy, Daddy, and me. It was yummy. I had pancakes and bacon! Paw bought me a Carolina bib that mommy was not happy about, but I wore it anyway. I think I look so much better in red though :) On Sunday I watched part of the Panthers game with daddy, Uncle Brian, mommy, Stacey and George. The Panthers won.
Carly and I playing on the couch. She is getting really good at holding me and not making me fall down.
Look mommy! I can hold my head up all by myself! Also, look at my pretty polka dot pants that Catherine gave me!
I had to take a 10 minute nap with Aunt Shannon so I could keep up with Carly all day.

A special thanks goes to a wonderful Emilee who found me something wonderful for my room! It is a print from the Winnie the Pooh books that was from the original artist that did not get published in A.A. Milne's book. It is Christopher Robin giving medicine to pooh, and it has tigger, kanga, and roo in it too. Mommy and daddy said they would frame it for me and hang it nicely in my room for me. I don't think they would want me to use a hammer quite yet.

Daphne is such a happy baby! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful child :)

Labor Day Weekend...

For Labor Day, I got to meet my godmother, aunt Tiffy. We had a lot of fun together. I slept on her for a long time on Saturday morning when I woke up until mommy made me get ready to go out. Us three girls went to get Tiff's hair cut, and then I went to spend some time at Mimi's house WITHOUT MOMMY! Mommy said it was hard for her, but she was okay. She was a little worried that I didn't eat enough before she left, but she is learning I will be okay. Sunday we went to Tiff's grandparents for a bit. Mommy, daddy, aunt Tiff, uncle Joe, and me went to dinner at Tosaka, a japanese restaurant near our house. It was the first time I got to go out to eat and it was a lot of fun. Monday I went shopping at the mall, Babies r' Us, and went to lunch. Then I had to say bye to Tiff and Joe. It was a great weekend.
