Holden Beach 2014

We were given the opportunity to go to the beach with some pretty wonderful friends for a week.  Bryson and Charity went with us when Emilee and Jason invited us down to Holden Beach to play.
The girls loved playing on the beach every day with Bryson and the other adults.  We got lots of time to relax, we went putt putting, out to dinner one night, and Charity and I even went shopping one day.

The evening we got here, the kids wanted to play in the ocean, even with their clothes on.  They started with just their feet, but it got progressively wetter and wetter.
It was absolutely beautiful there.  I would live here all summer if I could.  The beach wasn't crowded at all.
The girls got a different braid every day from Emilee.

 This is a great view

Our little diva "tanning" on the beach

Overall, it was a wonderful beach trip.  We were thankful to have this time together to play and relax with great friends.  The kids are already planning next year!

4th of July

We spent 4th of July here at the house, trying to keep as quiet as possible.  We really didn't feel like going anywhere, so we enjoyed a quiet, yet fun day with my three favorite people.  We played by the pool today...gotta love my mommy tan

and then some wonderful fireworks right on our back porch

Splash Pad

I took the kids to the splash pad on a particularly hot day.  It was so fun, and definitely helped beat the heat.

I had to teach them about Michael Jackson, so they are dancing to "Thriller" in the car on the way to get some ice cream from Sweet Frog
