End of Summer 2013

We have several pictures from the end of summer.  We have played hard the whole summer, having Bryson at the house everyday.
Daddy and J playing Thomas blocks.
One of the last few days of summer, we had a fairly chilly day.  That did not stop the kids because they spent a lot of the afternoon in the pool.  Yes they were kidsicles when they finished, but they still wanted popsicles after they swam.  That pool has been a great investment this year.
Girls playing with legos.  Yes, they did this alot! I love listening to them interact with each other.  They have such awesome imaginations.
At one point, the big kids wanted to play with some of Daphne's new sets without J messing them up.  They moved them over to the counters so she couldn't reach them.  That lasted about a day...J figured out she could play with them if she stood on a chair.  Nothing is safe in our house!
Daphne got her kindergarten hair cut!
 The three amigos!
Daphne and Bryson after playing outside in the cold pool.  Haha it was funny watching them.  They still didn't want to go in after eating the popsicles, but mommy overruled.

Daddy and J playing with Thomas blocks.
Ms. Jocelyn popped her elbow out of place this summer.  The kids were playing rough and it happened.  She was not a happy camper going in, but walked out all smiles!
J got a Monster's University book with characters and a mat.  Loves playing with it.
J would carry baby Jace around all the time if we would let her.  This is one of the few pictures we have of her a lot larger than he is!  He just turned 4 months old the other day and they are just about the same size now haha!  Jocelyn loves her cousin.
Daphne has the whole universe above her bed.  She got a glow in the dark set for her birthday.  They are quite fun.
 Frog catching

This is what happens when J gets hungry.

I found pictures of our trip to the Science Center as part of Daphne's birthday.  We got to go see a planetarium show, play with liquid nitrogen, and cut into a squid.  Both girls were very interested in it.
Jocelyn loved putting on the gloves.
Mommy is showing Daphne the squid and where to cut it open.
It was tough for Daphne, so mommy had to cut it.
She just kept her eyes glued on it until we were finished.

Jocelyn is feeling the little backbone type thing we pulled out.
Daphne loved it until mommy popped the ink sack.  She was done after that!  That was about the same time Jocelyn wanted to stick her fingers in it.
Mommy, Shannon and her friends went zip lining over the summer.  It was fun.
