We noticed we have not updated the blog since long before school started. Let's play catch up!
Daphne turned 5 this year! We celebrated her birthday twice...once on her actual birthday and one for her Ninjago party.
Bryson surprised Daphne with a cookie cake for her birthday. She loved it.
Must love the "just got up" look of her hair.
Jocelyn building with her legos before we left for Carowinds.
Silly boy!
Morning legos
We took the kids to Carowinds for the day. As always, they had a great time. All three of them are getting braver every time we go. Bryson and Shannon took a ride on the Gr8 Skate. He was so proud!
Birthday girl riding on the carousel.
Shannon and Jocelyn riding in the boats.
Big kids riding by themselves.
Jocelyn had to ride it twice so she could ride it with daddy.
That Saturday, we had her Ninjago birthday party. Emilee found this wonderful Nya shirt. She loves the Lego Ninjagos, and enjoys the girl the most...probably because she's a girl!
The three amigos (or three stooges, whichever you prefer) playing legos before everyone gets to the house.
Front door sign.
I found a little bunny. Isn't she cute? I think I'll keep her!

Playing outside with the big kids
Sunday morning Daphne and daddy (and of course J) put together her first new set of Legos. It was the treehouse.
Working hard
Step by step...she did it herself!
Daddy showing her how to find the pieces and match them to the book.
J being silly with Mac
Putting the finishing touches on the treehouse
Awesome job Daphne!
Needless to say, she was very excited about her birthday and all her presents and friends that joined her in celebrating 5 wonderful years. She is becoming such a great little kid. She is all about legos, Barbies, and playing outside. She has a wonderful little personality. We love her so much. Life would definitely be boring without her around!
