The girls are a wonderful gift from God. I love their smiles and
laughter, even tears shed. They are learning and growing into amazing
young women. I can already tell it will be an adventure when they both
become teenagers if their hard headedness now is any indication of how
it will be when they get older! Here is a recap of end of
spring/beginning of summer fun.
Jocelyn pushes her car up our hill and rides down it, smiling the whole way. She is going to give mommy a heart attack with her dare devilness!
The girls love to play dress up. Daphne dresses up as a different character every day and we are told to call her by that name the whole time. It is really cute watching her interact using different personalities and her imagination. Jocelyn just follows right along with her.She is definitely our athletic one. We love to play with sports equipment and be very daring!
Daphne had a great time at her school's May Fest.
Jocelyn making uncle Brian's police car go back and forth, all while making car sounds. It was adorable.
I believe the girls are about ready to get in the pool!Daddy and Daphne spending the evening making Lego Robots. Yes, Clinton and I do this kind of stuff for fun. Call us crazy :)
Jocelyn eating blueberries we picked from our bushes outside.
I think they are one of her favorite fruits to eat.
Daphne enjoys them too!
I came into Daphne's bedroom and she was making Mac smell all pretty. He had a nice scarf and hair bows to match in his hair.
Yes, we are on the move. Nothing is safe. The tops of kid tables or train tables are our favorite places to climb.
Daphne was sick one of my workdays at the end of school, so she went with me and played in the classroom all day. She would go from room to room playing with all of our teachers on the hall. She finally fell asleep watching a movie.
We have been working very hard on our letters all summer so far. She is figuring out how to write her name and she is so proud when she does well.
Don't be alarmed. We don't have Batman living in our house. Daphne found her daddy's mask and was running around the house telling us she was Batman.
Daphne has graduated to a little bit larger tricycle.
Jocelyn sitting here this good is a rarity. We would let Daphne sit up here while we were cooking all the time...not Jocelyn. Jocelyn is so full of energy and not afraid to mess and doesn't care whether or not she is right next to us. It is amazing how different their personalities are already.
