Easter 2014

The Easter bunny came to our house and left some wonderful baskets.
 Flip flops for summer!
capri suns, bubbles, panties and socks, coloring books and crayons, a water gun, and a few other fun goodies

Mimi and Paw gave the girls a little something for Easter too

The big boys hid Easter eggs around the backyard so the girls and Jace could go hunting.

He was more interested in playing with the eggs he already had than finding new ones

Someone found a good place to sleep!
On March 2nd, we had a spontaneous day, where we met Tiff in Greensboro to go to the big science center and lunch.  The girls loved the surprise!

2nd snow of 2014

The night before the second big snow storm, we had dinner with the family for Shannon's birthday.  Paw Paw surprised the girls with sleds!  They were very happy to have them.
Practicing early in the morning before going outside

We all got up early to play in the snow.

Oh how I love this.  The kids (and adults) had a mass amount of fun.  Alan and I went to bed really late after the first night of snow to make an awesome sledding area!  Our sleds went down the big hill in our driveway extremely fast.  It was so fast that we made it down between the trees in the field.  Overall, the week of snow was awesome fun for all the kids.

1st snow of 2014

A lot has happened over the past six months.  Here is a recap.  We all know how well I do this blogging mess!  Anyway, we had our first snow of the year at the end of January.  It was a super super cold winter, where school was even delayed several days because of temperatures being so incredibly cold.  The girls loved playing in the snow, especially when we got a lot of it.
