Random pictures

Here are some random pictures of the last few weeks...ENJOY! Daphne fell asleep during dinner. She was very tired.
Gem mining in Boone with daddy, mommy, Brian, and Lauren.
Daphne helping daddy look for pretty rocks.
Look daddy, I found one!
Clinton, Daphne, and I went to the park in Blowing Rock after gem mining and looking in shops. She loves the park so much.
She thought this was fun, the big bubble.

Crawling to daddy

Ok daddy, let me down, I'm ready to go!
ooh, mulch!

They are patiently waiting on someone to give up the baby swings.

yay for swings

gotta love the toothy grins

Playing with Chloe at Glenn Hilton Park. Daphne tried to take over all the toys several times.

They were cute trying to figure each other out. They were very jealous of each other though.

This is what happens when the two of them are very tired and waiting patiently for me to finish making dinner. It was absolutely adorable. I love them.

Who doesn't love that smile? I finally got a good picture of her cheesing for the camera! I was so excited!!! She makes this face every time I pull out the camera, and she always stops before I get it turned on and ready to go.
Bryson let us borrow the zebra so we could play on it. We are starting to become comfortable with it.
Riding around the neighborhood in our wagon. Of course, Sid and Boots (the monkey in her hand) are not enjoying it as much as Daphne. We ride around quite a bit in the neighborhood. It is really helping mommy lose her weight :)

Saturday, Sunday and Monday

Saturday, June 4th we left for the beach. It was a long trip, but it was definitely worth it. We got down there and got unpacked, and Daphne had to look through ALL the cabinets in the villa. We went to play on the beach for quite some time and then we went to the Wings store to get some sand toys. Brendan and I went back out later to the beach to skim board. We weren't so good and got shown up by 12 year olds, so Brendan gave the boy his board. Then we picked up pizza on the way home to eat and watch the fireworks. Daphne was so excited about the ocean that she literally did not sleep any that night. It was not a fun night for Clinton and I (nor anyone in the next rooms!) I ended up staying on the balcony most of the night so she could point to the ocean every few minutes and say ooooooooh. It was cute (just not right then). Sunday morning we woke up pretty early and went down to the beach. Brendan and Clinton built a sand castle while Shannon, Daphne and I played in the sand and the ocean. We got really good at walking to the ocean and not crawling. We didn't like the sea shells on our knees so we learned really quickly. Sunday night, Daphne stayed with mom and dad while the 6 of us went to Hard Rock for dinner. It was good, but some of us didn't realize how expensive it was going to be. I'm glad Clinton and I were prepared! Monday we went to the beach for the morning, then went to Liberty for a late lunch/early dinner. We also went shopping at Broadway at the Beach for quite a while. Brendan and Clinton both built cars at the build a bear for boys place. They got to decorate their remote controlled cars with all kinds of stuff however they wished. It was really neat. It was actually called RideMakerz but we liked our own name for it. :) Daphne climbing into the cabinets.
Brendan trying to teach me how to ride on the skim board. I did it for a second or two, but didn't last very long. Surfing is much easier, as long as you don't hit any rocks.

Daphne playing in the sand. Yes, notice all the sand on her face and in her hair!

Us at Hard Rock.

The boys at Hard Rock. They all look so cute.

Clinton and I driving away on a motorcycle into the sunset (or dark night, whatever)

Brian and Lauren went to the USS North Carolina on Monday when they went to visit Lauren's family. Brian and his guns.

Titanic pose.

Daphne riding on a dinosaur.
I have several pictures of us on the beach with the sandcastles, but they are on a waterproof camera. I am getting the pictures tomorrow and I'll post them then! For now, enjoy tons and tons of pictures!!!

Tuesday

Tuesday was eventful. We went parasailing (all 6 of us) and then played on the beach. We celebrated Lauren's 21st birthday at Margaritaville. It was good. We all had fun. Parasailing was pretty neat. I was not scared once we were up there!
Clinton and I taking off the boat.
Us headed up in the air.

Brian and Lauren leaving the boat.

Shannon and Brendan getting ready to hit the water.

all 6 of us after our parasailing adventures.
the 7 of us at Margaritaville before dinner.

Daphne and Paw paw waiting on dinner. It was interesting entertaining her for two hours while we waited!

The balloon lady came to our table to make lots of hats. Brian got a sombrero and Lauren got a crown since it was her birthday.
Brian , Lauren, and Daphne before present time (and cake time)

Brian and Daphne outside on the balcony. It's probably a good thing I didn't know this was happening since we were on the 5th floor and I'm a little (lotta) scared of heights!

Lauren's birthday cake.
Lauren with her bday sash on and her shot glass necklace.

Daphne had to take a little nap before we headed out to dinner.

Those were such pretty birds.

Mimi and Paw were starting her early on the "beverages." Yes, that is a pina colada, and no, there's no alcohol in it. She LOVED it though. She takes after her mama in so many ways!!!

The Three of us :)

The Balloon lady was on stilts. daphne was confused.

SHARK BAIT OH AH AH

It's a good thing I love this Viking dork!

Wednesday

Wednesday was Nascar Speed Park. We stayed there just about all day. I was so ill with Brendan because he thought it would be funny to spin me out every chance he got. I spun him a few times, but once I had to sacrafice myself. It was definitely worth it! Brian and Lauren got hurt halfway through the day so they went home. It really made Clinton and I want a couple for when Daphne gets a little older. (of course, we would have to buy three so we could all race around the neighborhood!) Then we bought fireworks on the way home and set them off on the beach on Thursday. That was fun! They were so pretty!!! We also went to Barefoot Landing to look around for awhile after dinner. First out of the gates.
The boys drive so seriously!

Clinton and I posing in our natural swim attire!

Daphne got to ride on her first carousel! She loved it and really didn't want to get off. She cried when we left. Yes, she's in her pjs! We decided to go to Barefoot Landing after mom and dad had given her a bath while we were at the Speed Park. haha, she enjoyed herself so much!

Daphne LOVED touching the bunnies. She were so cute and adorable.
