Thursday

Thursday we went to Broadway on the Beach to meet Zak for lunch at Uno Chicago Grill. He got to meet Daphne for the first time. For those of you who don't know Zak, he is Clinton's best friend from home and he hasn't been able to see him since Zak joined the Navy. He's a great guy. Of course, Clinton was very happy and so was Zak. After Zak left, we went to the seafood place to eat. It was good, but not the best place we have ever eaten.

Friday and Saturday

Friday we played on the beach all day long and then went to play putt putt. We went to Dicks for dinner. That was interesting. Shannon and Brian didn't like it as much as they thought they would, but at least now they can say they have been. Clinton and Lauren had fun being smart elecs about everything to the waiter! Shannon and Brendan at Dicks.

Daphne saying dog

Daphne has been saying dog and cat and then when we ask what the dog says, she always woofs. This is not the best video of her doing woof woof, but she gets excited when I turn on the camera. This is the best I can do right now.

This is Daphne playing with the pots and pans. I will post pictures of our beach trip as soon as I get them all from Shannon and Lauren.

boys bday weekend and more summer fun

The boys loved their surprise birthday party. it was so fun and exciting watching them come in the door! We had a Power Ranger party for Brian and Clinton. Yippie! Daphne is walking around the yard and house nowadays. Tuesday she was playing with Bryson in the sandbox and out in the yard. They both had fun.

Mimi and Daphne after swimming this weekend with Emilee. Check out her new earrings! She was such a big girl! We got tired of people asking if she was a girl or a boy. We thought her wearing PINK most of the time would be a dead giveaway, but I guess not!

Brian and I playing with the pinata.
Brian and Clinton before being spun around for the pinata. Yes, the 22 year old and 27 year old had a pinata at their birthday party...and masks that they were forced to wear :)

Lauren (Brian's girlfriend) spinning Brian around before he hits the pinata.

Clinton and I before we attacked the pinata. Everyone got to knock candy out of it :)

Clinton opening his new GPS. Boys and their toys. We hav been using it to make sure we remember how to get to various places around town haha. It'll come in handy at the beach :)

Daphne is a big help when it comes to opening presents.

The boys blowing out their candles on their cake.

The boys in their "Birthday Ranger" pins and masks.

Power Ranger cake! Yes, I repeat...22 year old and 27 year old birthday :)

The boys look when they came in the door :)

Dylan and Amanda hiding before the boys came in the door.

Dad, Emilee, and Daphne getting excited about the party.

Carly, Elijah, and Daphne at dinner for Father's Day. We all went out on Saturday even though Father's Day was the weekend before. We went to eat Mexican food. yum yum!

Clinton is so hungry that he is threatening to touch his eyeball if he doesn't get fed soon! Daphne on the other hand, was being fed with a shovel as quickly as humanly possible. Apparantly sometimes mommy doesn't feed her fast enough!

Baby Dedication

Father's Day Sunday our Daphne was dedicated to the church. It was very nice, and both her godparents were there, my parents, Clinton's dad and step-mom, and of course Brian, Shannon, Brendan, and Lauren. We went to lunch afterwards at Rancho Viejo. It was a good day.

Daphne and I are loving being out of school, although we haven't stopped long enough to really relax! We have been doing a lot of playing and cleaning this week getting ready for the yard sale on Saturday (6/27).
Most of us outside of the church after Daphne's dedication.
Lauren and I playing with Daphne in her new hippo pool. It squirts water and everything!

Obviously she enjoys her pool. We now have the beach on the front porch and the pool/ocean on the back porch. We are all decked out for summer time!

Daphne and I are at Ruby Tuesdays eating lunch with Aunt Shannon. They gave us a booster seat instead of a high chair. Oh that was interesting!
We have done quite a lot of this at mom and dad's the past two weeks. We love playing in the pool and relaxing. Of course, splashing is a must!

Sand box dream

As of Friday, Daphne is walking by herself! She is doing so well! Although she still crawls quite a bit, when she is holding onto things, she lets go to get to the next place. It's real cute. On Friday night, we got a call from Mimi and Paw saying they wanted to come over. So, we thought they wanted to see this walking first hand. Boy were we surprised! They showed up with a red crab, six bags of sandbox sand, and sand box toys. We now have a wonderful sandbox on the front porch. She loves it!!!
Daddy likes playing in the sand also :) We figured out that a handful of sand put into the bucket fills it up. This was useful information for her for quite a while.

Trying to figure out the sifter.

We have become a big daddy's girl here lately. Clinton went to get the mail, and she was jumping up and down when she saw him coming back to the house again. It was so cute!!!!

Loving the sandbox. We learned two valuable lessons the past two days. 1...don't eat the sand. 2...don't rub our eyes with sand on our hands. Both of these are not so good.

Uncle Brian and Daphne playing pass the ball with golf clubs.

Daphne is so cute in her outfit.

Giggle fit. She was laughing so hard for like twenty minutes for absolutely no reason. We wouldn't even tickle her and she was laughing. Clinton and I couldn't stop laughing the whole time she did it.
