Birthday Trip to Atlanta

For the girls' birthdays, we took them to Atlanta for the weekend.  We got up really early on Saturday morning and made the trek to the Georgia Aquarium.  The kids have been so super excited about the trip. The car ride was long, but they did a good job keeping occupied.  We asked Bryson and Charity to come along with us, as well as Kaitlyn, since Shannon couldn't come with us.  We made it there with time to spare for lunch before going into the Aquarium.  We spent most of the day there, leaving sometime around 4.  We checked into our hotel and had a little time for rest, then we headed out to the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Atlanta.  Clinton and I started a tradition when we got married to try to visit every Hard Rock where we are visiting.  We collect a glass from each place while we are there.  After dinner, we came back to the hotel and let the kids swim until closing.  On Sunday, we went to the Atlanta Zoo.  It was hot and the kids enjoyed it until it got almost unbelievably hot, so we stopped for lunch.  Then, we went to LEGOLAND!  It was great fun!

 These fish were incredible!

If only I had a reef this big!

I loved the faces and enthusiasm at the aquarium
We had to look all around to see awesome things

These were all made of legos!  We were in heaven :)

Playing with legos at legoland.  They got to "make" legos, play with legos, build cars to race with legos, to watch a lego movie, and a whole bunch of other stuff.  It was a wonderful trip!
