Be excited! I have found LOTS of time after National Boards to catch up on much needed things. My house is Spring Cleaned, I have planted lots of flowers, read a few books, and played in the dirt! Here is a rundown of the last week. Good Friday Clinton and Daphne took me to Charlotte to take my big test. We met Lori there to have some coffee/hot chocolate, and we watched the President go by. It was pretty funny, the police kept yelling at Daphne for being on the grass, even though she was BARELY on it and she is not even TWO! Daddy and Daphne went to the Discovery Place while I took my test, then we went home. We got to play with Aunt Tiff for awhile. Saturday we had an Easter Egg Hunt with all the neighbor kids. It was a lot of fun. Daphne didn't want to keep her dress on, so she took it off by the end of the day and ran around with her diaper on. She's called "Running Bare" for a reason! :) After the egg hunt, we went in and dyed eggs. That was an interesting experience. Sunday we went to mimi and paw's to eat lunch after church. Daphne and I played in the creek, looking for salamanders. The rest of the week has been spent cleaning, planting, and playing with Daphne and Bryson. He's been over here playing, they have kept each other busy!
Mommy helping Daphne plant her watermelon.
These will be yummy later in the summer! (If she can keep the seeds in the pots!)
Easter Egg hunting...or following the boys so they can find the eggs and put them in her basket.
She had Mason and Landon wrapped around her finger.
Found one mommy!
This one tried to eat all her candy before she went to play!
The dyed eggs
The Easter Bunny came! Look at all this cool stuff
We love the bunny
finding Easter eggs at paw's house
Playing in the creek with mommy. We found two salamanders, one big and one small.
She was getting good at picking up the rocks. A tomboy in the making :)
See our salamanders?
We HAD to show paw our findings
The water was a little chilly, but we were jumping in it anyway :) Yes, I can be a kid again!
We finally had to get out when we saw a baby snake in the water. It looks big in the picture, but I have it zoomed way in. I made it mad by poking it with a stick :)
Daphne and Bryson playing golf and water guns.
They are too funny together!
